Stephen Ministry
What We Offer
Welcome to the Stephen Ministry Page! We're glad you here!!
Stephen Ministry is a Christ-centered ministry. Stephen Ministers minister to those who are hurting. Stephen Ministry is a confidential ministry that provides one-on-one distinctively Christian care to people in our congregation and community. Stephen Ministers are committed Christian people who express God’s care through their lives to others. We are Christ's Love in Action. We are also known as the "After People".
Those needing a Stephen Minister can rest assure that their identity and what goes on in the caring relationship will remain private.
How can I learn more about Stephen Ministry??
If you would like information on becoming a Stephen Minister or requesting a Stephen Minister, please see Stephen Leaders: Clint Brogdon, Becky George or Sue Johnson. You may also speak with anyone wearing a blue Stephen Minister badge. Pamphlets are also available in the narthex. You may also email church office: office@fupcdc.org.
ALL INFORMATION IS CONFIDENTIAL!
A Stephen Minister is available near the chancel steps at the end of each service for prayer or just to talk. We encourage everyone who just needs prayer or a care to share to meet at the chancel steps with a Stephen Minister.
