RACHAEL BRADLEY

Rachel Bradley joins the music team at FUPCDC as Contemporary Worship Director. She has been involved in church music since childhood, growing up in church choirs as a frequent soloist and eventual director, and leading praise bands in high school, college, and beyond. At a previous church, Bethel Baptist Church of Yorktown, Rachel joined the songwriting team, the Doxology Collective. Several of her songs, inspired by the book of Psalms, were recorded in Nashville and are featured on the album You’re My God. One of her greatest joys in life is combining her love of music and church community. Rachel is married to Matthew, a marvelous singer in his own right, who also has a passion for church music and will be serving at FUPCDC right by her side. Together, they have a beautiful daughter, Melody Rose. Since recently moving to the area, she has been exploring multiple avenues as a musical artist, working both as a performer and an educator. Currently, she sings professionally with the Washington Master Chorale, accompanies and teaches for the Children's Chorus of Washington, teaches private voice and piano, and works as a freelancing music director/pianist for local theaters and schools as opportunities arise. Previously, Rachel sang professionally with the Virginia Symphony Orchestra Chorus based out of Norfolk, VA, where she also received her Master’s in Music Education (Applied Voice) from Old Dominion University. She earned her Bachelor’s in Music Education from Cedarville University in Cedarville, OH.
