Are you a friendly person who likes to meet people?  Please join us at the front door to welcome everybody to worship. You will also be asked to help those new to our building find their way to the nursery, Sunday School Classes, or to the sanctuary.

Usher Ministry

Do you like to help people feel comfortable when entering the sanctuary?  We are looking for friendly people to hand out bulletins at the sanctuary door and to help people find a seat. We are also looking for people to help collect the offering.  You will be paired with an experienced person who will help you learn this job.

Flower Ministry

Do you like to arrange flowers, while providing encouragement to others?  Please join us in arranging the Sunday morning flowers into smaller bouquets to be given to members who are sick, need encouragement or in gratitude. If you are new to flower arranging, we are happy to teach you how to do it.

The Worship Committee is looking for a volunteer(s) to help with the flower ministry.  This ministry helps bring joy to the recipient of the flowers and lets them know that people from the church are thinking of them and praying for them.  This ministry entails taking the flowers after the second service, placing them in vases, deciding to whom the flowers should be given using the Joys and Concern section of the bulletin, and then calling the deacon of that person who will then deliver the flowers.  The first Sunday that help is needed is August 11th, but training can be given .  Please contact Marti Hall or anyone from the worship committee if you are interested.

Communion Preparation

Can you bake bread once a month and share it with the congregation as part of Holy Communion?

Garden Angels

Do you like to work in the garden? We are looking for volunteers to adopt a church flower bed. You can do as little as keep it weeded and trimmed, or you can plant some flowers and really make the church look beautiful.
