WHERE IS OUR FRONT DOOR?

Please come to the back of our building to find our front door and look for our blue welcome banner that marks the front door.  You will be greeted by people who will be glad to help you find your way inside.  You will be entering our gathering area.

  • Coffee and cookies are available for you to enjoy.
  • The sanctuary will be the first door on the left.
  • The church offices will be to your right.
  • If you travel straight down the hall in front of you and take a right, you will find various meeting rooms, the rest rooms, the kitchen, nursery, and the education wing.

WORSHIP HOURS:

On Sunday mornings, we have two services.  The same sermon is preached at both services

8:30am-Traditional Worship

  • This service lasts approximately one hour and follows the liturgy of the Reformed church.
  • Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of the month and all are welcome to the table.
  • The Chancel Choir, accompanied by the piano or organ, leads the hymns and other special music.  The Jubilation Handbell Choir may also add to the music ministry at this time.
  • Children are welcome in worship, but there are age appropriate options as well:
    • The Nursery is open for infants to age 4.

11:00am-Contemporary Worship

  • This service is in the Reformed tradition and lasts approximately one hour.  (The sermon is the same as the traditional service.)
  • Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of the month and all are welcome to the table.
  • The praise band, Notes of Salvation, leads the contemporary songs and other special music.  The Children’s Choir may also add to the music ministry at this time.
  • Children are welcome in worship, but there are age appropriate options as well:
    • The Nursery is open for infants to early 3's who are not potty trained.
    • From September through June, KIDZ Church is available for children 3 years through 5th grade.  The 3 year-olds must be potty trained to attend the preschool class.

After the service, please come to the WELCOME TABLE at the back of the sanctuary.  You will have a chance to meet and talk with one of our greeters, and you will receive  a special gift from us along with information about our church.  You are also invited to join us for coffee and cookies in the gathering area.

CHRISTIAN EDUCATION:

Some people feel that Sunday School is only for children, but we believe that Christian Education is important for all.

  • For Infants and Toddlers
    • The Nursery is available for infants through age 4.  Professional and nurturing care is provided and parents use a secure electronic sign-in system.
  • For Children
    • Children ages 3 through 5th grade are invited to learn Bible basics through storytelling, drama, music, and crafts.  They participate in small, local mission challenges.  Caring teachers build relationships with children as they help them grow in their faith.  Parents use a secure sign in system.
  • For Teens
    • Students in grades 6-12 are invited to deepen their faith through the study of books of the Bible or other topical books and movies.  Teens are encouraged to participate in local and global mission through such activities as the 30 Hour Famine and Summer Mission Trips.
  • For Adults
    • All adults are encouraged to continue growing in their faith by joining one of many Bible studies that are offered during the Education Hour or at various times in the church or in people’s homes.  Check out the TV in the Narthex for the most up-to-date list of classes offered.
