Kim Parker

Kim joined the staff of First United Presbyterian Church of Dale City in July, 2016.

Kim is a retired elementary school teacher and has taught preschool through twelfth grade in public and private schools around the world. Kim’s husband Ron’s military career has taken them to Iceland, Puerto Rico, Japan, Germany and many cities in the U.S.

Kim was born in Sanford, North Carolina and married in 1976. Four years later she and Ron began their life traveling with the U.S. Navy. They have four children: Ronda, Philip, Seth and Ian, four grandchildren and a golden retriever.

The most important thing in Kim and her family’s life is serving God.  She has been able to do this by participating in Bible studies, teaching Sunday School and Vacation Bible School, and helping in a variety of ministries.
