Purpose

The Children's Ministry of First United Presbyterian Church of Dale City (FUPCDC) exists to communicate the love of Jesus to the children of our community, to help them build healthy relationships with others, to teach them to obey God's directions for their lives, and to learn the joy of serving Him and surrendering their lives to Him.

Kids Church is Open:

Sundays 9:45am and 11:15am September through June

No classes are held when services are combined at 10:00am.  Date of combined services will be available in the church bulletin, parent newsletter, church newsletter, and on the church calendar on the website www.fupcdc.org

Kids Church is closed for Summer Break for the months of July and August.

9:45am-10:45am

  • Kindergarten through 5th Grade in Room 4, Taught by Becky George, Children's Ministry Elder

11:15am-12:15pm

  • Kindergarten-2nd Grade in Room 13, Taught by Sue Johnson

  • 3rd-5th Grade in Room 3, Taught by Cathy Smith

Security Procedure Check-In / Check-Out

We care about the safety of your children!  A check-in / check-out policy has been implemented to ensure the children's safety.  Children age nursery through 5th grade will need to be checked in through our automated system.  A numbered name tag and pick-up slip will be printed for your child(ren).  Upon presentation of the matching sticker, children will be released to their parents at the conclusion of class.  Older sibling may pick up younger siblings as long as they have the pick-up slip.  Your cooperation with our policy is appreciated!  The safety of your children depends upon it.

Registration Forms

All children, even first time visitors, must be registered.  Registration allows us to enter children into our system for the numbered name tag and parent security sticker mentioned in the Security Procedure.  Registration forms are available at check in.
